Who Is The Cast Of Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6
There are some new faces on the crew of the Lady Michelle, with Captain Sandy abd Malia White the only two returning cast members.

Sandy Yawn: Captain Sandy
Captain Sandy has held the helm at the Lady Michelle for six seasons.
From Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she has 30 years of yachting experience under her belt.
Katie Flood: Chief Stew
Originally from New Zealand, Flood is the newest member of the Below Deck crew having joined in season 6 to replace Hannah Ferrier.
Malia White: Bosun
Malia White is back for the third time to Below Deck Mediterranean. This season will see her enjoy being single after breaking up from her partner Tom Checketts in September 2020.
In season 5 it was White who got Ferrier fired after showing Captain Sandy a picture of her unregistered valium and vape.
Matthew Shea: Chef
Matthew Shea is the talented chef who hails from Rhode Island.
With famous celebrity clients including Hugh Jackman and Rupert Murdoch, Shea brings experience and passion to the kitchen.
Lexi Wilson: Second stewardess
Fans can expect lots of drama from the Bahamian stewardess.
In the season 6 trailer we see Lexi and Katie get into an argument, which leads her to make a drastic decision.
Courtney Veale: Stewardess
There may be love in the air this season for stewardess Courtney who is from North Wales.
The season 6 trailer shows someone asking her off camera if she kissed one of the deckhands.
David Pascoe: Deckhand
Why Below Deck Mediterranean Is Losing A Major Star For Season 7

The Below Deck franchise is known to have faced some turbulent waters in the past. Usually, the trouble materializes while filming the yachtie lifestyle reality series, as demanding primary guests and co-worker drama ensues in very close quarters. Apparently though, theres also a major casting upset on the horizon as well. Malia White, longtime alum of the Mediterranean spinoff, has confirmed her absence from the upcoming seventh season and explained why it had to happen.
Technically, Bravo fans have been watching her climb the proverbial ladder on the show for several years now. She entered the fray in Season 2 as a green deckhand m and by the time of last years Season 6, Malia White had fully leaned into her promotion to bosun. As a result, the 31-year-old is one of the most easily recognizable Below Deck Mediterranean stars to date, if not of the entire franchise to boot. So why is she leaving? In an interview with Metro, White hinted that its not necessarily a permanent exit, saying:
I havent left. Its not that I might never come back to the show. Im just not on the next season. I got in a really bad scooter accident. And Im studying for this big , so its just a good time for me to take a break and take a step back.

Why Isn’t Lexi Wilson On The ‘below Deck Mediterranean’ Season 6 Reunion
Because much of the drama on Season 6 was about Lexi and her various notable disagreements with Mathew, Malia, and her own boss, Katie Flood, the Florida resident likely would have been one of the main topics of discussion at the Watch What Happens Live reunion special.
Unfortunately, based on a sneak peek clip for the reunion, Lexi did not return to defend herself, or to discuss her actions on the show.
According to the Instagram account, @BelowDeckAboveAverage, Lexi shared during an August 2021 Q& A that she would not be participating in the reunion.
“I’m extremely, extremely busy with important things in my life! I wish them a great reunion!” she wrote in response to a fan’s question.

For the past six seasons, what we have witnessed are beautiful locations in the world, such as Greece, Italy, France, Spain, and now Croatia. The show has also been very vocal about the hostilities and drama that arise between crew members and guests or among crew members themselves. And despite all the drawbacks we see the crew managing the drama and demands in some of the most interesting and sometimes hilarious ways.
Specifically, in the Season 6 finale, we find, that Captain Sandy treated the crew to dinner as a way of celebrating the conclusion of a successful season. However, we cannot also forget how the sixth season focused on the uncontrollable drama between Lexi Wilson and Mathew Shea. Wilson pushed Mzi Zee Dempers in the crew mess during that initial crew debacle. And she made a racial slur about Dempers too. He doesnt think she was edited badly. Honestly no, he said. I dont believe Lexi got an unfair edit. I know shes posted a whole bunch of things on Instagram that are not fair in terms of production. And in terms of myself. She didnt get an unfair edit.

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 7 Story
In season 7 we will witness Captain Sandy welcoming new members to the crew considering how events in season 6 turned out and the crew is currently short on personnel. According to some of the shows Maltese fans, we can also see a story around Maltese since the crew was spotted by these fans doing some work in Mellieha.
Also, considering how season 6 ends, we do know that the current crew members seem to be gelling up well. Therefore, it will be further interesting to see who brings in aggression and controversy. Nevertheless, we will surely witness a crew of deckhands, stewards, and a chef trying to manage the never-ending drama and demands of their wealthy guests.

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 7 Release Date
The finale of Season 6 of Below Deck Mediterranean aired in October 2021, therefore, we dont have much of an exact date for the release of season 7. However, having said that our sources tell us that Season 7 of the show will most probably premiere around in September, specifically during the second quarter of 2022.
Season7 is titled Home and is focused more on Croatia.

When Was Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 Filmed
Due to COVID-19, filming for Below Deck Med Season 6 was different than previous seasons. A bubble was created to ensure production members, crew, and guests were safe.
In the premiere, Captain Sandy revealed everyone must quarantine for seven days, making it more challenging to bring in replacement crew members. Its one reason the captain was freaking out when chef Matthew Shea left the luxury yacht to have an MRI on his knee.
Allie Dore from Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 shed more light on filming during her Pita Party program with Daisy Kelliher and Dani Soares.
The pregnant Australian beauty spilled that production went from filming Below Deck Sailing Yacht immediately to filming Below Deck Mediterranean. As fans saw at the end of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Lady Michelle and Parsifal III were docked next to each other.
All Below Deck shows film for six weeks. Below Deck Sailing Yacht started filming in August 2020 and wrapped in mid-September. Based on what Alli said, Below Deck Med filmed from mid to late September to early to mid-November.
The timing means that Season 6 began to film before Season 5 if the Bravo show had finished playing out onscreen. Perhaps that helps answer some viewers questions about why the network would bring back Malia White and Captain Sandy Yawn after their mean girl behavior last year.

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 Crew In Za House
We have been waiting since November 2020 to be able to share this with you! Almost the entire crew of Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 visited our Break Time shop in Split, shortly after filming for the season ended in Sibenik.
We got to hang out with them a bit in our VIP area upstairs before they chose their favourite Break Time nautical bracelets and we are now so excited to find out what adventures they had aboard M/Y Lady Michelle together, in the weeks before they came to Split.
We have Malia to thank for this visit, since she has already been in our shop before last summer….after her crew colleague from Below Deck Med Season 2, Max, discovered our shop while stationed in Split in summer 2020. Read all about it here.
It seems our 2020 was all about Below Deck, we like to joke…remember our previous blog article about the Below Deck Sailing Season 2 charter guests Rusty and Nikki, who bought Break Time nautical bracelets for the whole crew and production team? All custom made and engraved with their “Live long, sail hard” motto.
