- Disconnect the spark plug wire and then remove the existing spark plug with a wrench or pliers.
- To ensure you purchase the right replacement plug, write down the code on your existing plug, consult your mowers owners manual or just take the old plug with you when you go to purchase a new one.

Home Depot Marks Up Toro Timemaster Mower Price Overnight
Hi all just a heads up, if you were looking to buy a toro timemaster from home depot – the prices were inflated overnight.
There are two variants of the timemaster. The standard that usually runs for $1099 and the electric start that runs for $1199.
The electric start is sold out online and the standard time master had its price inflated to $1199. I don’t know if the electric start is going to go up to $1299 but as of right now they are both priced at the same price meaning there is no reason to not get an electric start.
I understand there is inflation but to be honest literally one week ago the standard time master was $1099, inflating the price 100 bucks for a product that is not new is kind of weird.
Standard Timemaster 21199

Replace Or Repair Your Lawn Mower
When should you start considering replacing your lawn mower? Many mowers have a lifespan of about 7 to 10 years. That should be a consideration when deciding whether to repair or replace.
Repairing a lawn mower.
If youre having problems with the mower, first consider how many years you have owned it. There are occasions when a lawn mower is only a few years old, but you know it definitely needs to be replaced. So besides considering the age of your mower, you should also consider its condition. An expensive repair might not be worth the cost.
If you have a new or fairly new mower, then you should be performing preventative maintenance to ensure that its yours for a very long time. Some things you can do to increase the longevity of the machine is to regularly drain the gas and oil at the end of each mowing season and replace the spark plugs and air filter periodically.
You have probably learned through the years of owning a mower that many repairs can be performed very easily and even on the cheap. Then there are issues that could cost hundreds of dollars to repair. For example, if your mower suffers damage hitting a tree stump or a rock and, as a result, the mower stops and wont restart, the shaft that connects the blades to the engine may be bent. That could mean a very expensive repair job. So expensive, you may want to purchase a new mower instead.
How Long Do Home Depot Refunds Take
When you are returning lawn mowers in-store to Home Depot, card refunds are processed straight away.
Cash refunds are dispensed immediately unless the lawn mower, such as the DeWalt cordless lawn bundle, is worth more than $1,000.
In this circumstance, Home Depot may issue a check sent from The Home Depot Corporate Office.
Note that credit and debit card refunds can take 2 to 10 business days to appear in your bank.
Additionally, repayments following an online return begin processing once the lawn mower has reached Home Depot.
Customers should allow at least 2-3 weeks for the process to complete.
Other than that, PayPal refunds to a credit or debit card can take 2-5 days. However, some providers could even take up to 30-days.
If you paid with your PayPal balance, you might only need to wait 1-3 days.

Is The Lawnmower Repair Specialist Being Upfront
Jones says he lists the prices of common services on his website and tries to be as open about costs as possible. Theres less confusion that way, he says.
If a lawnmower repair specialist hasnt listed a menu of prices online or is dodging your questions about prices, its probably time to move on to someone else.
While a lawnmower repair specialist might be upstanding, you still might be dealing with someone who lacks experience, and you might end up paying more simply because they are not sure of what is actually needed or of their ability to troubleshoot, and they cannot make the repair in a timely manner, says lawnmower repair specialist Ken Hinton, owner of Kens Mobile Services in Pflugerville, Texas.
Before any repair work is done, be sure youre clear on what kind of work is being done , how long itll take and what itll cost.

About The Toro Company:
Here Are A Few Good Questions To Ask Before Sending You Mower In For Repair:

- Ask them what their labor rate is,
- Are they are interested in repairing residential equipment,
- Most importantly how backed up are they.
Pro Tip! |
If you catch your local repair shop during the busy season, your mower can literally sit around for weeks and months before they get to it. |
Think about it, when it comes to working with equipment, it is no wonder that most shops dont want to repair residential lawn mowers. Professional lawn mower repairs are more predictable, and problems occur less often. On the other hand repairing residential lawn mowers can be more of a hassle.
That is why you have to find the right lawn mower repair service.
